Mrs. Sara Whalen

Mrs. Whalen began her first year as school secretary in 2022.  Previous to that she was the coordinator for St. Philomena’s RaiseRight Scrip program for almost three years, and had been a stay-at-home mom since 2017. Mrs. Whalen earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is a native of Edelstein, IL and is married to Ryan. They have three children, Michael, Gregory and Laura. Mrs. Whalen’s favorite things to do are reading, spending time with family and friends, baking desserts, going to baseball games and playing board/card games.
