School Uniform & Sports Equipment Sale

(July 22, 2022) — It’s time to dig out those school uniforms that don’t fit and that sports equipment your kiddos have outgrown for our Used Uniform and Sports Equipment Sale! Drop off your items from July 23-August 1 in the marked bins in the link between the church and parish center. All items should be clean and gently used. Allowed sports donations are those which we offer here at St. Philomena School: softball, soccer, golf, wrestling, volleyball, track, cross country and basketball. Sports shoes are accepted if they are in good, usable condition.

If you would like to help with the sale, contact Amy Capie (bradleygrad2000@yahoo.com). Help is needed sorting items before the sale and assisting at the sale.

The sale will be held in the school cafeteria, enter through the doors next to the gym off of the main parking lot. Sale dates and times:

• Thursday, August 4: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
• Friday, August 5: 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Mamas & Boys Night Out

Calling all St. Philomena moms and sons! (click for our flyer)

Join your St. Philomena friends for a fun night out at Dozer Park, 730 SW Jefferson, Peoria. The Cedar Rapids Kernels will take on our Peoria Chiefs, first pitch is at 6:35 p.m.

*Tickets are $10 each. Online registration deadline is April 30 at 11:55pm. This seems early, but it allows us to have all of our seats together in one section.

Ticket is for the game only. Dinner/food is not included. Have a group dinner with friends or on your own before, or enjoy a hot dog at the game. It’s up to you! Wear your St. Philomena gear and show your Tiger pride!

Sweetheart Ball 2022

The St. Philomena School PTO’s Sweetheart Ball (Father-Daughter Dance) returns on February 19 from 7-9pm. Cost is $20 per couple and $5 for each additional girl, with a maximum of $40 per family.

There will be a dessert table, dancing and photo booth fun!

This event is open to all St. Philomena Parish families. Please register and pay by clicking here. Online registration will close at 11:00 p.m. on February 17.
