2022 Back-to-School Spirit Wear Sale

(August 16, 2022) Our online store for spirit wear will be open August 15-31, 2022 to start the school year. This is the only way to purchase spirit wear. The store will close at 11:59 p.m. on August 31 – no exceptions. If you are interested in purchasing spirit wear, please do so prior to that date and time.

Also included in this store is a special one-of-a-kind “I am a Tiger” t-shirt in support of the 2022 auction. A portion of the sales from this shirt will go directly to this November’s auction. Thank you to Ms. Taryn Watkins and Mrs. Colleen Clark for sharing their talent for this shirt!

Parent Nights 2022-23

(August 15, 2022) Join us this school year for our Parent Nights. Each event will be held in the parish center from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The goal is to help school support home, and home support school. There will be snacks, drinks, door prizes and takeaways, practical suggestions and discussion. Check this site for topics as each date draws closer.

Little Flowers & Little Women

(August 11, 2022) We are excited to introduce a new extracurricular club at St. Philomena for our mothers and their daughters, (kindergarten through fifth grade). The Little Flowers group will be offered for kindergarten-third grade and Little Women for fourth-fifth grades. Both groups will gather on first Saturdays at the St. Philomena Parish Center from 8:30-10:00 am. All mothers of the girls are welcome and encouraged to attend each month. During each get-together there will be time for fellowship, fun, creativity and learning about the life of a saint and virtue. We will break out into small groups by age.

Mark your calendar for: September 3, October 1, November 5, February 4, March 4, April 1 and May 6. Sign up by September 1 by clicking here, cost is $10/daughter. If you prefer to not pay online, please make payment of exact cash or check (payable to St. Philomena) to the parish office by September 3.

Cheers & Tears

(August 2, 2022) — All St. Philomena School parents are invited to our first-day-of-school Cheers & Tears event. After drop-off on August 17, 2022, come over to the parish center until 9:00 a.m. for coffee, juice and donuts. Catch up with old friends, meet and welcome new parents and rejoice and/or wallow as a new school year begins. Younger children are welcome to join you.
