As a follow up to our Surviving the Holidays seminar, we will offer a 13-week GriefShare grief recovery seminar beginning on Wednesday, January 9 at 6:30pm. GriefShare is a weekly video seminar featuring some of the nation’s foremost experts on grief recovery topics. Each seminar is combined with small group discussion time to allow group participants to talk about the content of the seminar and how they are dealing with the death of their loved one. Our next Financial Peace University will begin on January 21, 2019. This nine-week series will be held on Monday Nights, 6:30-8:00 pm in the Parish Center Banquet Room. Join us for this Dave Ramsey study led by Brian Winschel. Childcare provided with notice. RESCHEDULED: St. Philomena School presents Winter Whimsical 2019, A Celebration of the Arts on Saturday, January 19in the St. Philomena Parish Center banquet room. Doors open at 5:30pm. Join us for an evening of entertainment provided by some of Peoria’s top performers, such as Cheri Beever, Bryan Blanks, Bruce Colligan, Barb Couri, and Chip Joyce. You might even see a few St. Philomena alumni. Hors d’oeuvres and dessert will be provided and a cash bar will be available. Must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets are $30 each and are on sale at the parish office or online.  All proceeds will benefit the arts at St. Philomena School.

Tiny Tiger Moms’ Group is for moms of children ages 5 and younger. Come connect, have a cup of coffee and share life with other moms living out their God-given mission as a wife and mother. We look forward to sharing life with you. Group meets on Fridays (Jan. 11-Apr. 26, we do not meet when school is out) from 10-11:30am in the Parish Center banquet room. Childcare is provided. Finding Your Fiat Junior high and high school girls, join Ms. Bogner and Ms. Witt at Finding Your Fiat in the Parish Center on January 27 for a conversation on “friendship” and to make your own “blessings jar.” Our high school ladies will gather 4:30-6pm (dinner provided) and junior high from 6-7:30pm (snack provided). All parishioners, friends, family, neighbors, prospective families are invited to the annual Catholic Schools Week open house on Sunday, January 27 from 12-1pm. Say hello to our teachers and take a peek inside our amazing school. Thank you to everyone for your support of our Catholic school.

The annual Kelly Needham Memorial Blood Drive is Saturday, February 23 in the parish center banquet room from 8am-12pm. To make an appointment, contact the parish office during regular hours or go to www.redcrossblood.org and type in the sponsor code STPHILS.
