Dear friend, As per Bishop Jenky on March 13, 2020, all Masses in the Diocese of Peoria are suspended for the time being. Here at St. Philomena, the church will be open for confession at our usual 3pm time today, (Saturday, March 14, 2020). However, there will not be Mass at 4:30pm. Dear friend, We are all seeing the increase in cases of COVid-19/coronavirus in the United States. Many of the suburbs of Chicago now have reported cases. Universities are not allowing students to return from spring break, since they can’t ask where they traveled. I saw one report that MIT has told students they likely won’t return until the fall semester....
