Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God

On January 1 the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. This is typically a holy day of obligation. However, in 2024 it falls on a Monday and not a day of obligation. If you’d like to attend Mass for this holy day, below is a schedule of Mass times in the Peoria area.

- Holy Family: 9:00 a.m.
- Sacred Heart: 12:05 p.m.
- St. Ann: 10:00 a.m.
- St. Mary, Kickapoo: 8:00 a.m. (12/31 – 4:00 p.m.)
- St. Mark: 9:00 a.m.
- St. Monica, East Peoria: 9:00 a.m.
- St. Patrick, Elmwood: 10:00 a.m. (12/31 – 6:30 p.m.)
- St. Thomas: 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m.
- St. Vincent dePaul: 7:45 a.m.
