Sheridan Road Traffic Patterns
4 Sep 2019 | Posted by: chadmin
From the City of Peoria:
The City of Peoria’s Sheridan Road project will lightly change traffic control on Sheridan Road between Forrest Hill Avenue and War Memorial Drive beginning on Thursday, September 5, shortly after 7:00 AM. The southbound travel lane will be shifted to the bidirectional/middle lane while the northbound lane will stay in its existing lane. This will allow for two-way traffic on Sheridan Road but may cause slow-downs for traffic turning onto side roads.
This work intends to upgrade ADA Ramps and perform pavement patching, ahead of the ultimate Sheridan Road asphalt mill and overlay. This upfront work is weather dependent but may take 2 weeks.
