Lent at St. Philomena
18 Mar 2019 | Posted by: chadmin
Throughout Lent we will offer some extra opportunities for Mass and confession.
In addition to our daily Mass (Monday-Friday) times of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., we will have Mass at 5:30 p.m. through April 17, 2019. Each Monday-Thursday there will be an opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation following the 5:30 p.m. Mass. This will again be through April 17, 2019.
Stations of the Cross will be prayed in the church each Friday following the 5:30 p.m. Mass. On April 5, the Stations of the Cross will be led by the 7th grade St. Philomena School class as they present their annual Living Stations of the Cross. This will also be in the church and all are welcome to join us for the experience.
On Tuesday, March 26, 2019 Bishop Daniel Jenky will be at St. Philomena to confirm our parish eighth graders. On this night there will not be 5:30 p.m. Mass or confessions.
