Good Friday, April 15:
Good Friday is a day of fasting and abstinence. Those age 14+ are to abstain from meat all day. Those ages 18 to under 59 should fast. One full meatless meal is allowed. Two other meatless meals may be taken, but together should not equal another full meal. Eating between meals is not permitted, but liquids including milk and fruit juices are allowed. When health would be seriously affected, the law does not oblige. To disregard completely the law of fast and abstinence is a serious matter.
