THIS TRAINING IS MONDAY-SATURDAY (JUNE 10-15, 2019; Saturday morning will be a lecture, but the afternoon will provide time for you to work on materials.):
Thank you for your interest in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd training. We are overjoyed to have Sr. Mary Rose, from the Nashville Dominicans, lead us in our training this June.
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an approach to the religious formation of children grounded in Sacred Scripture, Catholic Doctrine, Liturgy and Prayer. Themes are presented in such a way as to develop the religious potential present in every child: the capacity to love and be loved and be in a deep relationship with God. CGS was developed by Dr. Sofia Cavalletti and Gianna Giobbi in Rome in 1954 and has spread throughout the world. It is used in homes, parishes and schools. Each course requires 90 hours of training including: lectures, presentations, prayer, reflections, observations, material making, discussion, planning and writing album pages. Level I training must be completed prior to Level II and Level III training. For details, download the brochure by clicking here. To register for this training, complete the online form here. Once we receive your registration we will send you a confirmation and invoice for the fees.
