Why not add daily Mass to your routine this Lent? Mass is offered each Monday-Friday at 7am, 8am and 5:30pm and Saturday at 8am.

Confessions are heard each Monday-Thursday after the 5:30pm Mass, in addition to the regular confession times during Lent. In the March 31 bulletin there is a list of confession times and penance services at some of the Peoria churches.

Stations of the Cross will be each Friday after the 5:30pm Mass during Lent.

Our 8th graders are working on their Capstone service projects at the school. One group is looking to collect donations for the Women’s Care Center and Catholic Charities’ St. Gianna Baby Pantry. They are accepting donations of: diapers of any size, gently used clothes, shoes, toiletries, and books. Donations can be placed in the pack and play in the back of the church through March 31.

Women of the Parish: Join us for our next Women’s Night on Thursday, March 28 at 7pm in the parish center. We will make greeting cards! Make two handmade cards for $5 (supplies charge). Please bring a pair of scissors. If you aren’t interested in making cards, come to relax and socialize with old friends and new.

High school & junior high girls: our next Finding Your Fiat will be Sunday, March 31. High school girls meet from 4:30-6pm and junior high girls to follow from 6-7:30pm. Register online at https://www.stphils.com/church/events/

From Peoria Notre Dame: Thank you for all your support and love expressed to the whole Peoria community with the loss of Mr. Randy Simmons, principal of Peoria Notre Dame High School. In his honor, we have created a t-shirt to express our love for him and our solidarity during this time. All the proceeds of this t-shirt sale will go toward the Randy Simmons Tuition Assistance Fund. The next Men’s Club meeting is Monday, April 8 at Kouri’s Pub beer garden on Sterling starting at 6pm. It is the Annual NCAA Championship Watch Party/Chili Cook-off. Open to Men’s Club members of all parishes. Prizes will be awarded for different types of chili: most original, best tasting – voting done by those in attendance. Email stphilsmensclub@gmail.com with any interested entries so we can allocate space.
