Episode 3 of the Tiger Tales podcast is now live: Hear about what’s going on in our school from principal, Jack Dippold (SPS2001).

Tiny Tigers Moms’ Group (for moms of kiddos ages newborn-5) will start back up again on Friday, January 10. If you are new and want to join us or have questions,  complete the registration information online.

The Men’s Club will meet on Wednesday, January 15 to take down Christmas decorations. The regular meeting will follow in the banquet room. If you can help in the church, please meet in there around 5pm. Otherwise join us for the regular meeting at 6pm. Our win-a-pot drawing is up around $800. You can only win if you  are present!

Join us in the Parish Center toddler room as Communication Junction presents Sign and Sing StoryTime for children infant through 4 years of age. Class meets Thursdays, 8:45-9:15am. The winter session is Jan. 16-Feb. 20. We ask you to re-register here even if you were in previous classes so we have an accurate headcount of who is attending.

We will offer a 13-week GriefShare grief recovery seminar beginning Mon., Jan. 13 at 6:30pm in the St. John Paul II Library in the parish center. GriefShare is a weekly video seminar featuring some of the nation’s foremost experts on grief recovery topics. Each seminar is combined with small group discussion time to allow group participants to talk about the content of the seminar and how they are dealing with the death of their loved one. What if you were following a plan for your money that you KNEW worked? With Dave Ramsey’s class Financial Peace University, you CAN take control of your money, get out of debt, and create a plan for your future. St. Philomena School PTO presents the annual Trivia Night on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the parish center banquet room. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:00 p.m., trivia at 7:00 p.m. Cost is $25 per person or $200 per table. Cash bar available, provided by the St. Philomena Men’s Club. Prizes for Best Dressed Couple, Best Decorated Table, Overall Team Trivia Winner. To sign up your table click here.

Kelly Needham Memorial Blood Drive will be Sat., Feb. 22  from 8am-12pm at in the St. Philomena banquet room. To sign up to give blood, click here or contact Rhonda Parker in the parish office.

St. Philomena Parish offers a Montessori preschool for 3-year-old children, September-May, three days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We offer a program in the morning (8-11am) and afternoon (12-3pm). Join us for an Informational Parent Meeting for the 2020-21 school year on Thursday, January 30, 6:30-7:30pm in our St. Philomena Parish Center banquet room. We will overview the curriculum and schedule, provide a tour of the classroom, and distribute admission packets. No RSVP necessary.

Join us for an open house to celebrate Catholic Schools Week and to showcase our amazing parish school on Sunday, January 26 from 12-2pm. Open to all current families, past families, parishioners, prospective families, alumni and anyone interested in our school. #PawsUp
