Ash Wednesday is February 26. One Mass left at St. Philomena at 5:30pm.
During Lent, Father David will offer an additional daily Mass at 5:30pm. From Monday-Thursday there will be an additional confession time at 6pm. On Fridays we will have Stations of the Cross at 6pm.
St. Philomena Parish offers a Montessori preschool for 3-year-old children, September-May, three days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We offer a program in the morning (8-11am) and afternoon (12-3pm). Admission packets are available in the parish office. Completed registration forms and deposit are due to the parish office by February 28.

Fish Fry Dinners: Fridays, February 28 & March 13 from 5-7:30pm in the school cafeteria, enter through the gym doors. Carry-outs available, (call-ahead orders are not). Drinks & desserts sold separately.
Tickets for the school’s spring musical, Seussical, Jr., go on sale during office hours (8am-4pm, Mon.-Fri.) at the parish office on Monday, March 2, 2020. The show is held at Peoria Players Theatre. All tickets are $7 each. Be sure to purchase your tickets ASAP because these shows will sell out fast. Dates and show times are: Friday, March 20, at 7:00pm, Saturday, March 21, at 1:30pm and 7:00pm and Sunday, March 22, 1:30pm
The 7th grade students are working hard on the 2020 Hunger Feast. This year’s Hunger Feast will be held on April 1 from 6-7:30pm in the school gymnasium. Tickets will be on sale in the school office for $5 per person, available to parents beginning February 28 through March 5, and to the public beginning March 6 through March 13. There are only 150 tickets available, so don’t wait to purchase yours. Just as a reminder, children 10+ will be allowed at the Hunger Feast. We hope you’re able to join us in bringing awareness and helping end world hunger.
