(Update: May 18, 2020) The Diocese of Peoria joyfully announces that the ordination of Coadjutor Bishop-Elect Louis Tylka will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2020 in the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Peoria. Dear friend, As per Bishop Jenky on March 13, 2020, all Masses in the Diocese of Peoria are suspended for the time being. Here at St. Philomena, the church will be open for confession at our usual 3pm time today, (Saturday, March 14, 2020). However, there will not be Mass at 4:30pm. Dear friends Bishop Jenky sent a communication today to the people of the Diocese of Peoria (click here). As of Saturday, March 14, 2020 with the Vigil Mass, the bishop has suspended all public Masses in the diocese. At St. Philomena this will include closing the Adoration Chapel.
