Finance Council
The St. Philomena Finance Council consists of parish members appointed by the Pastor. Each Parish Finance Council is required by Church law to properly manage the funds and the budget of the parish. Council members offer their time and talent to our parish community. The Finance Council helps provide stability as we maintain and grow our parish ministries and parochial school. Monthly meetings allow its members to advise our pastor on our current financial climate as well as to pro-actively plan for the future.

Married with three children. Graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Served on Education Commission for six years, and as the Chairman for two, prior to joining Finance Committee. Works for Morton Community Bank as a Commercial Lender. -
Pat Smarjesse

Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Pat is a principal at David Vaughn Investments.
