Food Drive

For this year’s service project, the St. Philomena School 6th graders have organized a food drive. All items will be donated to Sophia’s Kitchen. They invite St. Philomena parishioners to join them in this effort. Donations may be placed in the collection boxes in the Link from November 16-22, 2024. Below are some ideas of donations. No glass please. Pop/pull-top cans are extremely helpful, as many do not have can openers.
Box/Jar/Canned Items: cereal, pasta, sauce (no glass jars), granola bars, potatoes, stuffing, canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats
Treats: coffee creamer, chocolate syrup, hand lotion, nail polish, Starbucks/Dunkin gift cards
Toiletries & Cleaning Supplies: packaged paper towels, toilet plungers, packaged toilet paper, Kleenex, detergent, dryer sheets, Clorox wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant
Miscellaneous: hot pads, oven mitts, cooking utensils, can openers (not electric)
