Women’s Care Center Support
7 May 2021 | Posted by: chadmin
The Women’s Care Center was damaged by a fire in the early morning hours of May 3, 2021. It has been determined that the fire was set intentionally. The staff has dug in and not missed a beat to serve the women and children in our community who need them. Please pray for everyone affected.
St. Philomena Parish has supported the Women’s Care Center for many years and our parishioners are always incredibly generous. Father David reached out to Connie McClure, direct of client care and a parishioner of St. Philomena, to pledge our support as a community. Connie has provided us this list of things they need. Please click here to see that list.
If you wish to donate a tangible item from the list, you can bring it to the link between the church and parish center any time the church or parish offices are open. School families, we invite you to send your items to school with your children on May 13 and 14, 2021. Our 8th graders will collect items at morning drop off as students enter the school.
To support the Center with a monetary gift, we present a few different options:
- We will have a second collection May 8 and 9, 2021 at Masses. You can also give through the collection next weekend (please place in an envelope marked Women’s Care Center) or at the office in the coming weeks as well. Make checks payable to Women’s Care Center.
- If you prefer to give online, go to the top of this website and click the green DONATE button and then select Women’s Care Center from the list of funds.
