March 14, 2020: Church open for confessions at 3pm
14 Mar 2020 | Posted by: chadmin
Dear friend,
As per Bishop Jenky on March 13, 2020, all Masses in the Diocese of Peoria are suspended for the time being. Here at St. Philomena, the church will be open for confession at our usual 3pm time today, (Saturday, March 14, 2020). However, there will not be Mass at 4:30pm.
Future communication will be coming regarding hours that the church will be open, as well as confession times through the week. Things change at a very quick pace. As soon as we know something, we will let you know.
Please tune in to all of our communication channels to ensure you have the most up-to-date information:
- Email: this comes from St. Philomena Parish via our email system, Parish Cast.
- Website: stphils.com/church
- MyParish App: download on your smartphone or tablet in the App Store or Google Play. The full name is myParish Catholic Life Every day. It is designed by Diocesan Publications. Once downloaded, then search for St. Philomena. Be sure to accept push notifications from our parish so you can get the messages from the app.

Take a moment to update your contact information by clicking here. For many people, we don’t have accurate/current phone or mobile phone numbers. This is a good time to make sure that is information is correct.
We are in this together. Please continue to pray.
