13 Mar 2020 | Posted by: chadmin
Dear friends
Bishop Jenky sent a communication today to the people of the Diocese of Peoria (click here). As of Saturday, March 14, 2020 with the Vigil Mass, the bishop has suspended all public Masses in the diocese. At St. Philomena this will include closing the Adoration Chapel.
There will be Mass tonight at St. Philomena, Friday, March 13, 2020 at 5:30pm and 8am on Saturday. These will be the last public Masses until the suspension is lifted.
Here are links to some live-stream Masses as well as the daily readings:

- Daily Mass Readings: www.stphils.com/church or www.myparishapp.com
Please join me in praying to break the chain of the transmission of the virus. This will be a difficult time for all of us. Let’s join each other in prayer and deepen our faith in the Eucharist.
God bless,
Father David
