Giving Tree 2018
8 Oct 2018 | Posted by: chadmin
While we continue through the Church’s Ordinary Time, we are also aware that Advent and Christmas will soon be here. We are currently gathering names of families in our church and school family that may be in need of assistance for Christmas gifts. If you know of a family from our parish in need, please email Fr. David (frdprichardson@stphils.com) with their information anytime before November 1. All information is confidential.
We will once again also sponsor families from Haiti and the Women’s Care Center. Below is a summary of how our parishioners assisted families at Christmas in 2017. Our goal is for the trees and tags to be up by Thanksgiving.
Parish Families: 126 gifts to 23 adults and 54 children
Women’s Care Center: 96 gifts to eight families (18 children); plus 122 items for the Crib Club: cribs, baby toys, pacifiers, baby blankets, baby monitors, diaper bags, car seats, car seat covers, baby swings, teething toys, clothes, and strollers
Helping Haiti: $1700 to feed 300 children
