The St. Philomena PTO is collecting your recipes for our latest St. Philomena cookbook! We’d love to hear from all parishioners! Email your recipes to: Lyndsey Ireland, laireland1@gmail.com. Email is preferred, but there are collection sheets in the parish and school offices as well as in the church.
To submit a hard copy, please return it to the parish or school office or place it in the collection basket.
If you have questions, contact Lyndsey at the email above or call 309-648-1918. All recipes are due by October 1.
Directions & tips:
- List all ingredients in order of use in the ingredients list and directions.
- Include amounts, sizes (e.g. One 8 oz. can), cooking temperatures, baking/cooking times, and cooling instructions whenever possible.
- Use names of ingredients in the directions. Example: “combine flour, sugar and baking powder” instead of “combine first three ingredients.”
- Include number of servings if possible.
